Interested in a FREE e-design service or perhaps a beautiful pillow?  If I’ve got your attention, read on!

We’re always trying to stay fresh and creative in a competitive market, right?  Well, now I’m taking it to another (personal) level.  Here’s were YOU can help and receive FREE e-design services in return!  We are in the process of selling our current home (tons of pics below).  Come on in!

My husband and I are so grateful to have had a lot of showings lately; but unfortunately, no contract yet.  Those of you who have been in my situation before can understand the unending frustration of the “showing” game. Running a business from home, maintaining a spotless house 24/7 AND having to leave at a moments notice is challenging to say the least!

So, where does the “FREE design” come into this picture?
I’m offering any of my fellow bloggers a FREE e-design consultation for one room of your choice, IF you will blog about my house for sale on your blog.  All I ask is that you kindly follow the rules listed below:
1) You must have 100+ blog followers on your blog
2) You must become a “follower” of my blog, if you are not already
3) You must feature at least 5 pictures of the home (from this post)
4) Include a link back to my blog in your post
5) Mention the house is just 1 block away from Lake Travis
6) Post a comment at the end of this post, and send me the link to your blog
7) Contest and service offer is null and void after a contract has been placed on the house.*
*I encourage you to email me ( prior to posting on your blog to confirm that a contract has not been placed on the house.

What’s included in your FREE e-design consultation?
E-design is a wonderful new service we we are now offering at Van Wicklen Design! You choose your room that you would like to update, and we’ll walk you through the process every step of the way.  Van Wicklen Design will provide you with an overall “Mood Board” as a visual guide and inspiration to complete your space. We will also provide resources, shopping links, DIY ideas, and additional design guidance.

For those of you who may not need the e-design services but would still like to help spread the word on your blog; I am offering one beautiful  “jvw home” pillow cover with a down insert,  as a way to say THANK YOU!  Quantities, sizes, and patterns are limited so please indicate your color preference when you post a comment with the link to your blog.

As we speak I am preparing for another NEW showing today…fingers crossed! Hope you’ll help me creatively sell this house and allow me to beautify your space in return!  For more information about the home contact Bridget with Trust Real Estate Advisors or you can visit their website!

Thanks as always for your sweet support.

All the best,

  1. Jeanette, I just found your blog a few days ago through a Pinterest post. I absolutely love your style and the fact that you are a Texan. 🙂 We are in the process of moving back from Oklahoma to Texas. We are originally from Dallas. I will definitely post your home pictures. Will let you know when its done. If by some small miracle I win, I need some ideas for my new house….your pictures really inspire me.

One question, can you share some of the sources for items in your hone? Love that big coffee sign in your kitchen.

  2. Thanks for the support Stacey on the house!! I appreciate the help so much!
The coffee shop sign I found yrs ago on Ballards Designs.
If you need other specific sources, then let me know…there's so many in my house it would take 4ever to source them all….so specifics would help….
thanks again and can't wait to see your post!

p.s. you're already an Edesign or pillow winner if you follow the blog rules….yay!

  3. Hello there jvw,

Im thankful i found your blog. I was inspired by those designs you showed above. I told spread the word about your blog to my friend and she told me your blog is cool! isnt it great?

  4. Thanks Linda for stopping by …..only a verbal contract that we haven't agreed on yet…loads of activity, which has been great, but most people need to sell their house first… Had a hopeful showing yesterday and now another one today….BUT I know to not get excited til I see an actual written contract!

We remain hopeful and try to not get too fritzed having the house "perfect" everyday, LOL!

Been busy with end of school week…new design board coming next week!
